A. What kinds of information does RUINS OF CHAOS collect?

RUINS OF CHAOS may collect personally identifying information during initial game signup, player polls, and user surveys; this information is collected solely at the guest's discretion. In addition, we may also: collect the e-mail addresses of those who post messages to our bulletin board; aggregate information about which pages guests access; collect user-specific information about which pages players and guests visit along with the length of time spent in particular areas. Additionally, information volunteered by the player/guest such as survey information and/or information provided in site registration forms - like a player/guest's name, address, email address, and phone number - is also collected.

B. How does RUINS OF CHAOS use the information we collect?

RUINS OF CHAOS may use personally identifying information of its guests to award prizes; to track compliance with our Rules of Conduct and Anti-Spam policy; or for editorial purposes (to the extent that is explained when guests provide the information).

When you create a user profile or participate in interactive areas of RUINS OF CHAOS, including the message center, forum, and chat room, all information volunteered by you may be displayed or broadcast publicly to the RUINS OF CHAOS community and/or to the chat room that you are visiting. Our security and privacy policies are also periodically reviewed and enhanced as necessary and only authorized individuals have access to the information provided by our players and guests.
